Peonies

All of my peony plants came back this year and I had beautiful, fragrant bouquets that lasted for a couple of weeks!
Peonies are really easy to grow and come in a lovely range of colors. I have all white, but some are double and some are single bloom. That was not on purpose, by the way. The garden store tagged some incorrectly, but all's well that ends well. Maybe next year I'll plant some bright pinks or reds.
I would love to have flowers or greenery in bloom every season in my garden, so I don't spend money on arrangements or wreaths at the store. Someday I'd love to have enough land for a vegetable garden and a flower garden for arrangements! Someday I'd also like to have a personal assistant/massage therapist.

Love your flowers! Our yard is full sun all day long, so I am jealous. What I have planted in pots or the yard is baking.

And I'll be your assistant if you be my personal chef. Scott can do your massages ;)

I want to buy a fern peony. I love them. In fact, I saw one in a yard in my neighbourhood, and loved it so much I ran the doorbell just to ask what the plant was. I just need to find a place for it in my yard.

One of my very favorite flowers. They come and go quickly, but there's nothing like a big, lush bouquet of peonies! Yours are gorgeous!

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
