Modest Haute Couture

I  love the fact that Catherine, since becoming an official royal, has chosen the loveliest, most modest dresses and outfits for her royal excursions!

That black and cream lace number is out of this world beautiful! I'm not a good enough seamstress to make that dress, but a skirt?... maybe. She shows that adding texture, interesting prints, and color can make an outfit pop without showing a lot of skin! The green dress at the bottom is my favorite! I wish I was a better sewer. I also wish I was a milliner. Those hats are INCREDIBLE!

Aaaah, the Duke and Duchess... what's not to love?

I was saying the same thing the other night when they were talking about her on the news. Her clothes are so cute and modest. Maybe that will be the new trend. Being able to actually find a dress with sleeves. Gosh I hope so.

Love spotting great modest fashion! I have honestly wondered if her modest choices are due to her position... which I have no problem with. Are we not all daughters of a king? We ALL should similarly rock gorgeous, modest frocks. :) (Now to fund this operation...)

I love her sense of style and grace. I really love what she chooses to wear.

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
