My Mixed Tape

I've added a new page element. It's a bunch of songs I found throughout our cd collection and a couple rare gems found on youtube. It's interesting to sit down and list some of your favorites because you discover things about yourself you perhaps hadn't noticed before. I, for example, am a middle aged Brit.

Who knew?

Anyway, if you're bored, browse through and see if there's anything you like. I tried not use too many songs from one artist. Hope you enjoy.... c'mon, how could you not enjoy Xanadu?!!!!

No folk music? That was a weird phase you went through.

I like folk music.

LOVE THE RAINBOW CONNECTION (I have no idea who that woman is though???) Enlighten me.

Good new feature...thumbs up here.

I am especially glad that you didn't just add music blaring when I come to your blog..that annoys me for some reason...I guess I am a control freak and want to listen to my own stuff.

I know that doesn't surprise you! :)

Alice, you're a funny girl... I feel exactly the same! No one enjoys having a song thrust upon them with no warning.

AH man....i thought that becaused you had finally commented, you may have posted something...where have you been?

I was so glad to see your comments...I was just thinking about you this morning, wondering whether or not you were o.k.

I am waiting for a explanation post...I bet you have been sick like the rest of us.

Hope all is better REALLY soon so that I can have something to read!

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
