Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for landscaping. The planning, buying, planting and mulching of my new landscaping has been a year in the works and it's finally done. Well, in the front at least. It looks really nice and I can't wait for the Spring to get the sides and the back going! Then I'll be thankful for that too.

I am thankful for Gorilla Glue. Have you guys tried this stuff? AMAZING.

I am thankful for The Magic Eraser. Another amazing invention. It cleans up almost anything with no effort.

I am thankful for online shopping. This is a landmark year of total online Christmas shopping and it's such a relief! I don't love shopping to begin with, but shopping during the holidays fills me with dread and dark thoughts. This year will be a happy jollier time filled with magical memories and free shipping! Hooray!

I love my magic eraser - at Costco here you can buy a mondo pack.

In regards to your comment on my blog:

We had Thanksgiving in October - so that's why I start decorating right away for Christmas.

Also - trying to have the kids look happy, the house clean, and me skinny?? That's why we never have any pictures done! I should give up on the skinny part

Ah! Without the magic eraser I would have the alphabet written in blue marker on my bathroom counter.

Seriously, Renee, I don't think we can be friends! You don't enjoy shopping! You must not be doing it right. It's all in the thrill of the hunt. My favorite shopping day is the day after Thanksgiving BECAUSE of all the crowds and I love to get a bargain...even if we don't need it. I'll be out and about by 3:00 a.m., home before the kids roll out of bed!

I am with you and with Kristen. For the most part I like to shop on line... but for some crazy reason I LOVE the day after Thanksgiving shopping for the crowds and the chaos and the sales.

How did people live without a Magic Eraser? Seriously it takes crayon and shoe scuff marks and the nasty black look on the baseboards- luv it!
I guess I'll have to invest in Gorilla Glue- never even heard of it...

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
