Thankful Thursday

-I am thankful for spring break and the means to take a vacation.

-I am thankful for Pepto.

-I am thankful self reliant, independent children.

-I am thankful for my dad, who has helped us get to step 7 out of 34, building our ridiculously complicated play gym.

-I am thankful for our last General Conference and in particular, Elder Holland's amazing Easter message from the Sunday morning session. It is the best talk I have ever heard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpFhS0dAduc AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

This was BY FAR my favorite talk of this Session.

I always have one total favorite, but this is probably on my Top 10 list of all time...it spoke directly to me!

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
