Gardens and Gardening

I love gardening and I love gardens. Someday, when life slows down a bit, I'd love to join a club and learn all I can about growing everything from flowers to vegetables to herbs and fruit trees... I'd also love to have a small green house to start seeds in and keep more plants alive through the winter.

These are beautiful landscape and garden pictures I've found on various blogs and websites that I love. I'm not the best gardener, but someday.

I love flowering vines! Luckily my wisteria and clematis came back this spring so I'm also considering planting a climbing hydrangea. Any thoughts???

What a beautiful garden party!

Martha's super organized and beautiful vegetable garden takes my breath away!!!

I love the wide square mulch beds under these trees. Shade gardens are among my favorites and last year I was able to find a little corner in the back of my house for one. Luckily, most of the plants lived through the past winter, but I'm thinking of adding some hellebores. Has anyone grown them before?

What kind of gardens do you have???

Pam and I share a vegetable garden on her property. I love the way Martha's is set up. I think I will do it like that some what this year.

O my gosh - when did you come and take pics of my house? The white farmhouse one??

And thanks for the great aerial view of my garden too.

I doubt if my gardens will ever look like those pictures, but it is great to get inspiration, isn't it. You've given me my inspiration today. Thanks!

I grew wheat grass in a pot. That is my garden.

Ummm...we're supposed to garden too?! I'm feeling pretty lucky if my kids have clean clothes!

I have a totally black thumb, but a huge fascination with gardens. One day I am going to learn to grow things!

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
