Martha's Turkeys
I love Thanksgiving, it's my favorite holiday meal. I love turkey and I love stuffing and I love cranberry relish and corn pudding and mushrooms and sweet potato casserole, pumpkin/apple pie etc... Basic Thanksgiving fare. No turduckin, or Cornish game hen, or whatever. Although I do consider egg rolls traditional Thanksgiving fare as well... and kimche.
Martha's turkeys are so beautiful, huh. I'd love to spend Thanksgiving with Martha! I bet her meal is so good, but I'd be super nervous I'd spill or worse, choke! Can you imagine if I started choking at her table? Oh my goodness, I don't think she'd help me. She'd be so disgusted, and while she'd most definitely have the skills to save my life, her disappointment would keep her from actually using them. Oh Martha!

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."

So funny. I'd rather have my family and friends than Martha. Although she must make a mean turkey. I agree -- I love the usual Thanksgiving fare too. I've never made corn pudding though. Do you have a favorite recipe? If so, would you send it to me? I'm hosting dinner at my mom's house this week, so I'm looking for at least one new dish to try! ;o) Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! - Suzanne
Pahaha! You are so funny! And wow to the turkeys! If I ever actually make one myself, I plan to wrap it in bacon...
