Fun Times

My blog circle of blog friends continues to expand and I love it!!!
First my friend Chemenn from Utah, commented, so she's officially on the "list". Her husband Jeff is at Vanderbilt right now, so hopefully we can get together in person soon as well as blog communicate.

Next, my girlfriend Cheryl and I threw a baby shower for our good friend Teresa Sat night. It went very well by the way. Teresa gave me her blog address and so did another good friend Mia, who was there. I told them my blog comment woes and now we're all blog connected. It's the first time I've had blogging friends from my own ward, so hopefully, we can convince more sisters to join the fun. Oh yes, things are going to change I can feel it!

I love great blogging connections...Mia has already come over and said Hi to me...yeah!

I want to blog the blog!

Yes, I do garden. It is trickier in TN with all the bugs.

I just discovered this year that Bradford Pear Trees STINK! Literally, the blooms smell like poop. But, they are so pretty and I guess they keep their shape well.

I don't have a Bradford...we have 5 dogwoods, a real fruitng pear (we want to chop down because the pears aren't good and they attract yellow jackets), an apple, a holly, two pines, two big tall ones (not sure maybe Maple)

K- I am sure you really care. I would love to have enough money to plant whatever flowers I want, but still waiting for that day. We are attempting our veggies again this year. We gave up the last few years because even though we are in city limits, we have so many squirells, crows, and bunnies that they EAT everything!

Just follow this link. My sister says not too beat it for as long as it says - that's why mine are always too crumbly.

I VOLUNTEERED to hold a blogging enrichment for RS. I even gave Jodi like 5 dates that I would be available. No one has gotten back to me. But I think that it is because she is really busy with the wedding right now, so we will just have to do it when things can get organized... My Realtor told me that Bradford Pears smell like shrimp, and she is right. Ugh! I love making blogging connections too. It is just hard to know if people welcome strangers or not, which I obviously do...

Renee,

Yes, it is a nervous habit to pull out my hair (one strand at a time) I know it is wierd...I have curbed the habit considerably, but it is still a BAD habit.

just thought I would answer you before I forget....my sister is a nail biter...not for me....I go straight for the hair follicle :)

I NEVER go to enrichment, but I will offer to give a "blogging - for- dummies" class. Great idea. And I have to say, I also pull my hair, but I've had to force myself to stop cuz I aint got a lot!!! Hate to speed up the balding process!

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
