Catching Up

I just spent about 40 minutes catching up on various blogs, and am so impressed! I've been very neglectful of my blog lately, partly because of time management issues and partly because I just don't care so much. I should, because this "journaling" was one of my resolutions, but the daily 5:00am wake up has left me less than motivated!

Here's something fun. Suzanne, aka Mia's mom-in-law, aka awesome sewer is featuring a give away on her blog. It's a handmade Halloween bag for some lucky kid, just in time for the fall. I'm hoping to win, but if you'd like to ruin my chances, go here to enter: http://justanotherhangup.blogspot.com/2009/09/its-time-for-october-give-away-trick-or.html

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
