Brandon, an Inspiration

I've been feeling a tiny bit sorry for myself in the past week. With a sick family, the all nighters and other daily responsibilities have left me a little drained. I loved teaching at church yesterday, not only because the lesson was on gratitude and appreciation, but because I was able to hear what the yw are thankful for and what they've been doing to show it.

This video of yet another amazing teen helps me to remember and put into perspective all of the things we are faced with and asked to do. What a blessing it is to have the opportunity to provide service. Is there ever a better feeling than to know you've helped someone right when they needed the help?

I just love this kid!!!

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
