Happy New Year

I didn't post resolutions last year because I think deep down I knew I didn't have it in me/ my days would be getting much busier and any resolution would be replaced with a 5 mile list of HAVE TO's. This year I'm feeling much more optimistic.
Scott and I were talking last night about 2011 being a great year, and so far so good. As far as resolutions go, mine are always the same. "Getting in shape again, being more kind, learning Korean, blah blah blah", BUT I'm going to add one more. This year I want to earn my YW medallion. I'm sort of nervous saying it out loud because now there's a self imposed deadline, but doing this will kill 12 birds with one stone. There, it's done. I have 300 or so days left to accomplish this goal so I should probably get off the computer and start.

I think that 2011 is going to be a great year! I am excited for this year to kick off. And I love that you are going to earn your YW medallion (I have total faith in you).

Haha! I just challenged my YW to a race with the leaders. I'm workin' on it right there with you! (Good thing the requirements for leaders are slightly modified . . .)

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
