Since Thanksgiving...

... we've been busy!!! Between decorating for Christmas, shopping, cooking, delivering, ear piercing, Pillow Pet snuggling, cleaning, DS playing, Twinkie eating, dancing, hugging, smiling, unwrapping, sewing and "And all that jazz".... I'm pooped!

Grace and I had an afternoon out. First we went to Claire's and got her ears pierced (the first one didn't go in all the way, so he had to redo it) and then we had sushi. It was the first of many special mother/preteen daughter dates!

The DS sisters.

Oliver's playing the drums behind the sparkly girl. No, the other sparkly girl... no, the other sparkly girl.

She loves to dance and she loves to fake sleep.

The girls sent Grandpa on a scavenger hunt for his gifts. I was a little nervous about it, but he was an excellent sport! All's well that ends well.

There isn't another set of cousins who know more about football than these two guys! It's pretty intense.

Uncle Gary loves his sweets!!!

We hope you all had a very merry Christmas and New Year celebrations too!

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
