New Friends

I've added a few new links to my "friends" list. I don't know any of these people, but their sites are fantastic!

funny mom- I found her blog through Erika's, and loved it. Very funny lady!

baker who cooks- She is a consummate foodie and has a beautiful blog full of recipes and great links.

Bourdain- host of "No Reservations" Great show and great sense of humor. He travels around the world and samples the best of every country's food and culture. Not the cheesy touristy crap!

Sue- She specializes in Korean food/Korean fusion. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I left messages for each telling them I was adding them to my favorites. Hope they don't mind.

O.k., sorry I skipped this entry before I just left you my last book of a comment. I will have to give Erika my thanks for sending you my way. I love Erika(it seems we are very much the same person sometimes). It is so fun to make blogging friends. I will add you to my site too.

I have to tell you that I am so flattered that you call me funny mom. I could not think of a greater compliment! Really, you made my day. Thank you SO much.

I didn't realize that your last name is Fitzgerald until I came here from Kristen Duncan's blog....small world, huh?

Are you guys by chance related to John D. Fitzgerald, the author from Utah? I just, for the first time, read one of his books and absolutely loved it. I have marked every other book that I have found by him as "to read"...I know it's a longshot...but I thought, maybe??

So your story gave me goose bumps. That was a cool one. See, stuff like that needs to be in the news.

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
