We hope everyone had a fun and happy Christmas! We were home for Christmas morning and then headed over to my parents house for dinner. (Only two kinds of meat this time)

Gracie's NativityThe kids were super excited Christmas morning, especially Sophia. She said she didn't remember last Christmas at all and was really impressed with Santa and her loot! Completely unprompted, little Gracie put together a nativity made out of her stuffed animals and toys. She had them dressed up, and cleverly thought of a way to prop up a star and angel. What a sweetie!!! Spencer got a whole bunch of weird stuff, including a "gel ant farm", but his favorite gift was his new Strokes t-shirt. Oliver has been saving up for a full size drum set, and with his Christmas money, was able to go and buy one! I'll post photos of him playing soon. These kids are great!
We also had an opportunity to send a box of goodies and letters to our good friend Jon Rodden who is in Iraq right now. He, in turn, sent us each wonderful letters that brightened our day! After a year of being away, he's returning home to his family safe and sound in about a week. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Roddens and all of our Army friends who are separated for so long!!!

I am trying to figure out if I know you. If you have commented before on my blog, I probably just assumed you were my sister, Renee.
If I do know you, sorry for not making the connection, it is hard to tell who people are from their vague profiles.
I think you may have found my blog from googling Martha Stewart, I referenced "what sadistic Martha Stewart" in one of my most recent posts.
I am flattered you added me to your favorites. I will come check you out from time to time, even though I am living the exact opposite of your ideal Martha Stewart home! I do give you kudos for your attempt though! I could never live up to the pressure - I avoid her magazines for that exact reason.
I love it that you have a Sophia and a Gracie. I wanted a Gracie but my husband said he would only call her Grace, and Grace Gold doesn't sound so great....am I rambling or what?
What part of TN did you visit at Christmas. I am in Knoxville.
Also, FYI, my sister in law and her hubby live in Korea and just adopted a little Korean girl named Soon So. She is so cute and animated and beautiful! We are so glad she is part of the family.
