Top of the Mornin' to ya

I got this idea off Lori's http://bedifferentactnormal.blogspot.com/ blog and think it's perfect for a VT gift or St Patty's Day party or kid craft. All you need is a small terra cotta pot, black acrylic paint, candy wrapped in gold foil (Werthers Original hard candies are my favorites), shredded paper and pipe cleaners.

Paint your pot black and let dry. Then attach the pipe cleaners with hot glue to form a pretty rainbow. Fill with shredded paper and candy. Super cute, right?!

That is totally cute. Too bad you were only my VT for a week. Guess you won't be bringing this cute gift over. BooHoo for me.

I wonder now if all the ladies in our ward will be getting one of these. They are too cute!

I know you tagged me - I just keep forgetting. Plus, I have to forget your answers and the other answers I read - because when I try to think of my own answers, I only remember those.

FYI, I stole this idea for Gretchen's leprechaun trap she had to make for school. We painted and "glittered" rocks instead of candy, made a little popsicle ladder and some keep out signs.

Thanks for the idea!:)

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
