A Great Movie

Scott and I watched "The Young Victoria" last weekend and it was wonderful! My husband was not particularly excited about it, but after a few weeks of nagging and convincing, he picked it up.... and loved it.

I loved everything about it too. I'm typically not much of a love story fan, but maybe because it's based on a true life love story, it didn't seem cheesy to me. The acting, storyline, costumes, everything was done well. I don't know how accurate all the little details were, but who cares.

So good.

PS. I thought Emily Blunt was a singer. I'm so out of touch.

Loved that movie too. And you are thinking of James Blunt the singer. So, so close.

I cried at the end when it said that after he died, she laid out clothes for him every day until she died.

I tried to rent this tonight, but the red box I will be closest to is out and I am to lazy to run across town for it...

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
