Just Curious

After my last post, I'm feeling a bit curious again.

What's your all time favorite TV show and why?

For me it's a tie. LOST and the Golden Girls. You all already know my love for LOST, but here's a shout out to my girls Blanche, Dorothy, Rose and Sophia. I guess it's a combination of a couple of my favorite things, sarcasm and old people. One of the best episodes is when they crashed a high school reunion and Rose tried to pass herself off as a Chinese exchange student. That's some funny crap.
So, "Thank you for being a friend, traveling down the road and back again..."

Definitely right now it has to be LOST...such a great show, I am hooked! My favorite TV show of all time? Hmmm: can I pick one from each stage of my life? kid: Electric Company. bigger kid: Who's the Boss. biggest kid: Friends. Now: LOST :) I am a little of a TV junkie. It has always been a big part of my existence (sad, I know :(

Lost for sure. has there ever been a show like it? Either it's extremely clever or the writers are smoking somthing. But it's entertaining nonetheless! I really like The Office and 30 Rock too. Thursday nights are the best.

I like CSI, the original Vegas version. The others don't even compare. I love the faux science and I love that they can totally poke fun of themselves all the time. I am pretty much a sucker for any hospital drama, again the faux medicine sucks me in. I love tv!

I'm so TV illiterate. I have no idea what's on these days. And its funny because we have 6 TV's in our small 1400 square foot house.. one being in the kitchen and another above our bathroom tub... no kidding. And not only that we have 2 DVR's. (My hubby does home theaters for a living!) In Jr. High I loved Lois and Clark.. (very cheesy!) and a few years ago a friend of mine got me into watching Smallville, and we bought all seasons to watch while hitting the treadmill! So, I still watch that every week and I also love to watch dancing with the stars and So you think you can dance. Let's see, I don't think I was much into TV growing up either, but I remember really liking Punky Brewster!

I think I'd probably really like Lost though, I'll have to catch up on the past seasons and start watching. I like action/dramas.

I am with Mia on the CSI. I also love Criminal minds. In the past... I was just sitting next to my sister Devri watching the same shows she was. :)

I think you and I were separated at birth! I LOVE the Golden Girls and no one my age even knows what it is. I watch all the old reruns all the time.
Besides that I LOVE Grey's Anatomy (although being married to a Dr is a pain because while I watch it he makes fun of all the things they do and corrects them when they are wrong- very annoying!!) House, Biggest Loser, and 48 Hours Mystery. I keep these stashed on my DVR and workout to them so as not to feel too guilty while watching.

No, THANK YOU for getting a great theme song stuck in my head. I don't know of any others that are as catchy besides the one from Cheers...and amazingly, I think that both of these songs have similar melodies, if I remember right.

Like you, I also absolutely loved Golden Girls. I am sure I am one of few teenagers who used to watch it. We used to tell our friend who was crabby all the time that she should change her name to Blanche.

And, I named my daughter Sophia. How can you not love a Sophia?

I also loved Who's the Boss, Punky Brewster, Little House on the Prairie, 90210, Melrose Place, and Dawson's Creek.

Do you remember the show Webster? I loved that little guy, especially when he would tap dance.

Oh by the way... I was never interested in watching girls... I mean really...a show about old people? How could that be good. Until one day I guess it was just on and I watched it.. and yea.. I agree with you Renee! That's some funny crap! Shane used to like watching that show as a kid and thinks its hillarious too (don't tell anyone I said that!)

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
