Just Curious

OK, I'm kind of nosey so this is a new thing I'm doing to get to know a little more about you. You, my blogging friends. Every once in a while, I'll post a new question, and hopefully you'll respond.

"WHAT IS YOUR RING TONE AND WHY?"

I get the biggest kick out of people's ring tones. Once I was in a little quilt shop in Kentucky. In walks this lovely, very distinguished lady interested in some homespun fabric. A couple of minutes later I almost pee'd myself when, very loudly, "Sexual Healing" started from her purse and she answers, "Hey, girl!"

So awesome.

This is so not shocking to anyone who knows me but I have Dave Matthews "Stay or Leave" for my ringtone because Dave is the best!
I know what you mean about surprising ringtones- the other day I saw a refined woman walking around and her phone rang "Sexy Back" not exactly what I would have thought she would pick... maybe her kids picked it for her.

not a suprise to know that mine is "enjoy the silence" by depeche mode. if my kids call, they have it set to "reach up for the sunrise" by depeche mode. for my friends, it's "hollaback girl" and for my husband it's "pour some sugar on me" by def leppard. love this one--i might have to steal your idea. i would love to know who's got what....

This is sad...I lost my "real" cellphone a couple of months ago, and in about 5 months my contract expires and I can get a new phone then for free....so now I have my old cellphone that just has crappy rings. I just changed mine to that annoying Bingo song (There was a farmer had a dog and Bingo was his name oh...) Olivia chose it.

Wow I am pretty sure that my answer is going to lose me a bunch of cool points. For years I had a nokia phone and I never changed the ring. Now my ring is one of the standards on my phone called Strum, which sounds like a guitar strumming. I don't even have a special one for my hubby.

For my SHAC ring it is Dance as if no one is watching, sing as if no one is listening and live every day as if it were your last.

For my hubby.... James Bond theme.

I don't even know how to download a song to make a cool ring tone.

I just picked one that they offered for free...just some jazzy symphony sounding thing..sure you all have heard it...I just picked the most obnoxious thing they offered so that I would be sure to hear it...I swear I can't hear anything! And, my life is always so loud.

I LOVE YOUR story of the sophisticated lady's ringtone...FUNNY!

And, I am totally going to love this new idea of asking us questions....everyone like to talk about themselves, right?

Mia, I tried to post my ring tone, but it didn't work. So I put the picture instead, because it fit the topic and it's my ring tone. "Sex and the City".

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
