Most Popular

Here's a recipe that is most popular and sought after! We're going to call them "Renee is so cool" cookies, ok?

Renee is So Cool Cookies-

saltine crackers
wax paper
2 sticks of butter
1 cup sugar
bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 350. Line a cookie sheet (that has a lip around it) with wax paper. Then place one layer of saltine crackers down. Combine butter and sugar in a saucepan and cook until they are completely incorporated. Then pour the mixture evenly over the crackers. Bake for 10 minutes. Take them out, and turn off the oven. Pour one bag of chocolate chips over the top and put them back in the oven for about 5 minutes. (Make sure the oven's off) Take them out and spread the melted chocolate til smooth. Put in the fridge until it sets and cut it up.

Enjoy! I promise they are sooooo good. I have a lot of yummy cookie and dessert recipes but this one is always the most popular. I'll try to make some soon and post a picture as well.

I LOVE THESE COOKIES!!!! Really, these are amazing. I can't wait to have an excuse to make these. Unfortunately I will probably end up eating the whole pan!

I think I might even be able to make this! But I'm no Martha Stewart, so keep your fingers crossed! Thanks for the recipe.

These are the easiest ever and great when you're in a pinch for time. They end up tasting kind of like a Heath bar, but not as hard.

Sounds like I need to try these out! Who knew saltines could be dressed up- but butter is a miracle worker : )
Glad you found me through Alice because it's so much fun meeting fun & sassy mormon moms- and your blog is oh so clever-

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
