Feb Visiting Teaching

Last week our Visiting Teaching list changed. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to get to know a couple of new ladies and hopefully be of some service. I really love this program, and also enjoy coming up with fun little goodies to take when it's my turn.
Now, I know you all are probably so sick of seeing my crafts, but for the sake of my own record keeping, I'm posting yet another project. You don't have to comment, unless, you know... you like it and want me to feel good about myself. I'm sick too, did I mention that?

I found this idea on Martha, who I love by the way. Just download the template off her website http://www.marthastewart.com/article/valentine-treat-box?lnc=4ef2dc5bfca40110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&rsc=showarchive_tv_show-archive and print it onto cardstock. The graphic was a free background I found online and printed. Then you cut it out, glue, fill it with candy, tie a ribbon and tuck the VT message in. I thought it would be a cute way to introduce myself to the new ladies and also say "goodbye" to the gals that were reassigned.
I swear I'm not a crafty person normally, but this one was really easy and fun.

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
