John, Meet Ron

We all have a twin, even if we weren't born with one. Case and point: John and Ron. My dad's twin is John Locke from the hit tv show LOST. Since day one, we were all amused and somewhat disturbed by the eerie resemblence, not only in looks, but personality as well.

It's freaky.

John has mad skills that enable him to survive on a tropical island and slaughter wild boar, hunt polar bears and catch fish with no equipment.
Ron does too, plus he can catch flies with HIS BARE HANDS.

John jumped into an abandoned well because "what fun would it be to be lowered carefully?"
I've heard Ron utter very similar words many a time.

John pushed a man into an invisible electro-magnetic fence to "see what would happen".
Ron's been tempted.

John seems to have a deeper understanding of life on the island and life in general.
Uh huh... absolutely.

John is in incredibly fit shape for a man his age.
Ron is in incredibly fit shape for a man his age.

... and so on.

Strangely enough, the two of them aren't alone. Our plumber, Mr. Hisle, is also their "brother from another mother", and possibly Elder Dallin H. Oaks. It's not for sure though.

Do you have a long lost twin?
You all know mine already. Korean Valerie Bertinelli.

That is so funny. Just last night my brother called me and told me that I needed to start watching Lost because it is soooo good. He also said that John reminded him of our dad! Ha ha... that's so funny he has so many look alikes!

I have not found my look alike, it is kind of disappointing and sad... *sniff sniff* Ok I think I am over it. My father in law is the perfect stand in for Mack Wilburg the MoTab director. It really is uncanny.

I laughed so hard at this that I almost peed my pants. Is that how you spell peed?

You are too funny! I haven't seen lost but I thought that guy was scary-- right? Maybe I have him confused with someone else. And your dad looks a lot like Elder Oaks, too!

Well, I have like a million twins- I can't go anywhere without someone asking if we've met before or they say they know someone who looks like me. I guess that makes me very generic :)

I haven't found on...some people tell me I look like Janine Gerafalo (I know I just spelled that wrong) but some people think those people are crazy!

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
