I Love Free

I found these two great links on Yahoo the other day for free clip art downloads via Martha.

The first is a freezer label that can help you identify and date the mystery foods that inevitably get lost in the back or bottom of the freezer. If you're like me, sometimes food get lost in the fridge as well.... I also get really skeeved out at sandwich meat when I can't remember the exact date it was opened. Doesn't it always smell weird?

The other is for all you photographers. This is a free download that turns your pictures into postcards. I thought it was a cute idea and might do this instead of Christmas cards next year. A lot less wasted paper when you don't have to use envelopes! Plus Grandma or MeMaw, or whatever you call her, will have a labeled picture, and you know they all love that!

Sometime when I'm not aching to go watch TV in my bed, I'm going to look at that postcard link. That sounds like a good idea. And maybe if I start trying now, I can actually have a family picture ready by Christmas.

I love reading your comments - thanks for reading my blog.

When are you going to come visit here?

In a few years, when all of our little babies aren't little anymore, we should meet somewhere with Lisa and Leigh Anne for a girls weekend.

I think both of those are great ideas. I toss perfectly good food if I am not 100% sure when it was purchased/frozen. It is so wasteful, but I hate wondering if the food is still good.

Yes, I can see your blog now! I just had to re-do it on my end.
About juicing. I LOVE it! I just like knowing the healthy-ness it is for me. I kinda stole the juicer from my mom, but it's been one of the greatest "purchases." And it's good for the kids, too. Adding pineapple makes it real sweet, so the kids like it. Not a "healthy" sweet, but you'd think I added sugar to it.

I'm writing kinda choppy cuz I'm supposed to be getting the kids up for school but I"m not, but I better go. I'll write more later.

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
