Flashback Friday

When I think of any memory, there is ALWAYS a song to accompany it. I know, how very Ali McBeal of me... but seriously, it's true. Some of blogging friends post funny or inspirational stories from their past, but I only have weird memories that no one but my sister and I would think are funny- But, hopefully someone will enjoy my walk down memory lane via music, and hopefully this will last longer than my karoake posts, where I ran out of lyrics after 3 songs.

I picked Xanadu first because, 1. I LOVE THIS SONG, and 2. Most of my early childhood memories include Olivia Newton- John in some way or another. I was/am a huge fan.

HA! I have never seen that video! I felt like I was at a stake function and everyone suddenly started dancing. (I think I am still seeing those outfits around.)

And like you and Ally, everything has a song for me too. :)

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
