I don't know about you all, but I've had a funky couple of months. Typically, the kids bring home their foul germs from school, spread it to their siblings, Scott gets a touch of whatever and I'm immune. I think I've had the "too busy to get sick" inti bodies and was grateful, albeit perpetually exhausted from nursing everyone else.

Well, this year, having all my kids in school full time, I've been catching up on my sleep with a few morning naps. The problem is, it's thrown off my delicate balance and I'm now the sickliest one of all!

For a while at the beginning of the school year, I had these phantom pains in my side that sometimes reduced me to moaning and yelping when I turned a certain way. I've had colds, headaches, flu-like symptoms, then the full on stomach flu AND now my eye won't stop twitching! It's almost like I've aged 20 years in a matter of months.

Maybe all the years of birthing and nursing have finally caught up with me.

Gees Louise.

I would just suggest that you get overly busy again, but in your weakened state it just might kill you ;) Keep napping!

I missed Sophie in primary today! Hope you're all feeling better soon. Get some sleep for me too!

Hey - is that a real book? I need to get it. And give it. Both.

This year I realize that I'm breaking down. My wrists hurt - and my fingers go numb. My ankles and feet hurt. My knees make creaking noises. And I'm sure I have a brain tumour...why else would I get so irritated all the time???

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
