Flashback Friday

I had totally forgotten about this song until last weekend when Scott and I rented "The Proposal", starring Sandra Bullock and the very cute Ryan Reynolds.

Anyway, it reminds of my teenage years, living in Bischofshiem, Germany. IT WAS STRAIGHT UP GHETTO full of fights over everything from dice rolling to "that ain't my baby daddy", grillz everywhere. I only came out of my apartment when I absolutely had to... BUT, on the bright side, it's also where I learned my mad rapping skills.

"I wanna rock right now, I'm Rob Base and I'm here to get down...."

You know you know the words!

I kinda miss those dice games. I made some money on those. I can't believe you didn't mention Kim,the big, scary girl on the bus that use to rip her shirt off like the Incredible Hulk and try to fight everyone. She was always my favorite.

Your neighborhood sounded crazy! I never know the real words, I just make up what I think fits.

LOVE that movie! I saw it in the theater twice and have watched at home too! It's on my Christmas list or birthday list!

I am not even opening the link, but I loved this song too...singing right now.

it takes two to make...something something....to make it out of sight.

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
