Gift Idea

If I can get my ducks in a row, I'm going to make these for my kids for Valentine's Day with a bag of chocolates inside. Of course, a little more masculine for the boys... I don't know, maybe black and grey felt with bloody skulls or something equally as cute.
This is one of the many delightful felt crafts Martha has on her website. It looks pretty easy and felt is so fun to work with. No finishing the edges! Plus, the seams are on the outside, so if your kids are particular about that, these won't have any bumps to bother their toes!
TIP: Run a few lines of hot glue on the bottom to make them less slippery.
Happy Sewing!!!

Those are too cute. The kids and I are going to do the fortune cookies for their classes. I may need to do some of the slippers just for Morgan.

This looks like a fun, easy project. Maybe I will make the kids some for Valentines day.

"My professional life has been centered on the home, the well being of the family and everything that these subjects encompass. When I began working in this area more than 25 years ago, the subject of homemaking as it relates to families was largely overlooked, though the interest was clearly broad and the desire for information strong. My colleagues and I soon discovered we were satisfying a deeply felt unmet need."
